The centres allow applicants in South Africa to submit Schengen visa applications for short-stay purposes, including Business, Tourism and Transit visas, without travelling abroad. Both facilities support secure biometric enrollment and operate with appointment-based systems.
The centres offer a range of optional premium services to applicants. These include travel insurance, courier services, photocopy facilities, SMS notifications, photo booth services, form filling assistance, prime time services, flexi hour passport collection and access to a premium lounge.
Aakash Patil, Regional Head for South Africa at BLS International, said the centres aim to enhance accessibility while delivering a secure and efficient visa application experience. He added that the company’s focus remains on high service standards supported by trained teams.
Business and Tourist visa categories represent the most popular application types at the new centres, according to the company.
