On February 8-9, 2026, Raksha Rajya Mantri (RRM) Shri Sanjay Seth led a high-level Indian delegation to the World Defence Show (WDS) 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The delegation, comprising senior officials from the Department of Defence Production and the Armed Forces, showcased India’s growing defence capabilities, with nearly 25 Indian defence enterprises displaying advanced technologies, including tanks, missiles, and radars.

RRM also inaugurated the India Pavilion, a 400-square-meter space highlighting India’s indigenization efforts in defence. Bilateral discussions with Saudi officials focused on enhancing defence cooperation and exploring industrial collaboration. The visit underscored the strategic importance of India-Saudi relations, with continued efforts to increase defence exports, improve market access, and foster global competitiveness.

The collaboration is part of broader India-Saudi defence ties, which have grown through joint military exercises, ministerial visits, and defence cooperation agreements, further strengthening bilateral relations.
