A missile strike in Tehran has been reported near offices associated with Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Explosions were heard in central parts of the city following Israel’s confirmation that it had launched a missile attack on Iran. Reports indicate that at least one of the strikes occurred close to offices linked to Khamenei. Smoke was seen rising in the surrounding area after the impact.
Israel’s Defence Minister, Israel Katz, described the operation as a pre-emptive move intended to remove threats to the State of Israel. No official details have been released about damage to the offices or any casualties in the vicinity.
Authorities have yet to provide a comprehensive assessment of the impact near the location. The reported proximity of the strike to offices tied to the Supreme Leader adds significance to the incident. Further clarification is expected as more information is made public.
