China has rejected allegations that it provided military support to Iran during the ongoing conflict, calling such reports “purely fabricated.”
A spokesperson for China’s foreign ministry said Beijing follows strict controls on military exports and complies with international obligations. The statement added that China acts in a “prudent and responsible manner” regarding defense-related activities.
Chinese officials dismissed claims made in recent media reports and intelligence assessments that suggested Beijing supplied weapons or other forms of military assistance to Iran. Authorities described these allegations as unfounded and opposed what they called the spread of false information targeting China.
The response follows reports citing United States intelligence that China could be preparing to send military equipment, including air defense systems, to Iran. Beijing denied these claims and stated that it does not engage in actions that would escalate tensions in conflict zones.
China also reiterated its position on the Iran conflict, stating that it supports dialogue and diplomatic solutions. Officials said the country maintains an objective stance and does not take actions that would contribute to further escalation.
The denial comes amid heightened tensions involving Iran, the United States, and Israel, with increasing scrutiny over external involvement in the conflict. China has continued to call for restraint and negotiations as the situation develops.
