Eminem and Jack White Deliver Electrifying Surprise Halftime Show at Ford Field

Detroit fans were treated to a rare hometown collaboration as Eminem joined Jack White for a high-energy halftime show during the Detroit Lions’ Thanksgiving game. The unannounced pairing brought together two of the city’s biggest musical icons in an eight-minute medley that blended their most recognizable hits.

White opened the set with his 2024 track “That’s How I’m Feeling” before shifting into the White Stripes’ “Hello Operator.” The stadium erupted when White introduced Eminem, who appeared in a hoodie and Lions jacket to perform “’Till I Collapse.” The track, which has become one of his most streamed songs, was woven seamlessly into the rock-driven set. White closed the performance with a powerful rendition of “Seven Nation Army,” amplified by the crowd chanting along and the Lions cheerleaders joining the stage.

The show marked the first onstage collaboration between White and Eminem, despite both rising to global fame from Detroit in the early 2000s. It was also the first Thanksgiving halftime performance under the Lions’ new partnership with Eminem’s team, which will produce the show through 2027. The night also featured standout moments including a strong national anthem from Detroit-born gospel singer CeCe Winans.
