A spokesperson stated that Usha is a mother of three young children who frequently handles household chores and “forgets the ring sometimes.” The clarification followed comments from several Democrat influencers who questioned why she was not wearing the ring during the official visit. Some social media users suggested the moment hinted at marital issues, while others linked it to unrelated online rumors involving Vice President JD Vance.
Supporters, however, backed the Second Lady after her spokesperson’s explanation. Many users noted that they also remove their wedding rings during daily tasks and occasionally forget to put them back on.
