Iran Says It Arrested 35 “Mossad-Linked” Individuals Across Six Provinces

Iran has arrested 35 people, including individuals it described as “Mossad-linked,” arms smugglers, and members of separatist groups, according to a statement by Iran’s Intelligence Ministry carried by IRNA.

The ministry said the arrests were carried out in operations across six provinces. It did not specify the exact provinces or provide detailed identities of those detained.

Iranian authorities stated that the detainees were connected to what they described as foreign-backed networks involved in espionage, arms trafficking, and separatist activities. The statement did not provide evidence or further operational details.

The announcement comes amid heightened security operations inside Iran during the ongoing conflict with the United States and Israel. Iranian authorities have increased arrests in recent weeks, citing national security concerns and alleged intelligence activity linked to foreign agencies.

Similar statements in recent months have reported arrests of individuals accused of working with Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad, though independent verification of such claims has not been provided.

Iran’s Intelligence Ministry said investigations are continuing and additional details may be released after judicial review.
