President Donald Trump sharply rebuked late-night host Jimmy Kimmel after the comedian mocked him over the imminent release of Jeffrey Epstein–related files. In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump criticized Kimmel as a “man with NO TALENT and VERY POOR TELEVISION RATINGS,” accusing the host of unfair coverage and demanding ABC remove his show from the air.
Kimmel, during his November 19 monologue, likened the public scrutiny over Epstein to a “Category 5 hurricane,” quipping that the country was “one step closer to answering the question: what did the president know and how old were these women when he knew it?” He also questioned whether Trump would really follow through on signing a bill that mandated the release of Epstein’s files, joking there was only a “12 percent chance” he would.
Trump had signed that very bill—introduced by Congress to declassify unclassified Epstein documents—into law. In his response, Trump accused Kimmel of biased commentary and urged television networks to drop his show.
