Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made a pointed comparison between the Palestinian group Hamas and Russia’s President Vladimir Putin regarding negotiations amid ongoing conflicts. Zelensky said, “Even Hamas is showing a willingness to negotiate — but not Putin. Not yet.”
He emphasized that while the international community is pressuring aggressors to deescalate tensions and pursue dialogue, Russia continues its military campaign against Ukraine without any sign of stopping. According to Zelensky, Russian forces bomb Ukrainian cities every day “without remorse, without pause.”
