Newly released Epstein Files include an email involving former White House advisor Steve Bannon, containing an antisemitic slur and references to meetings with Chinese officials and Prince Andrew.
The unclassified email describes a situation where Epstein recalls Chinese diplomats warning him in Mandarin to “be careful of the Jewish dog,” not realizing that his assistant understood their words. The term is recognized as an antisemitic trope used to stereotype Jews as corrupt or part of a global cabal.
Epstein’s correspondence also highlighted his role in arranging meetings between influential figures and Chinese officials. Documents confirm that Prince Andrew met China’s President Xi Jinping in 2015, 2016, and 2018, and Epstein had links with prominent Chinese figures such as Li Yuanchao and Wang Qishan, along with interactions with billionaire Donald Tang, chairman of the fast-fashion company Shein. There is no evidence linking Xi Jinping to any illegal activities related to Epstein.
The files provide additional insight into Epstein’s network, his global connections, and the controversial figures he interacted with, while exposing instances of offensive language and discriminatory remarks.
