The Israeli army has issued an evacuation warning for residents living south of the Zahrani River in southern Lebanon, according to a statement posted on social media.
The military said airstrikes are ongoing in the area and stated that its forces are operating with significant force. The warning urged civilians to leave the المنطقة immediately.
“Remaining south of the Zahrani River may endanger your lives and the lives of your families,” the statement said.
The advisory comes amid continued military operations by Israel in southern Lebanon as part of its conflict with Hezbollah. Israeli forces have carried out airstrikes and ground activity in areas they identify as positions used by Hezbollah.
There was no immediate response from Lebanese authorities regarding the evacuation warning. Details about the number of residents affected or evacuation arrangements were not released.
The development follows ongoing cross-border hostilities between Israeli forces and Hezbollah since early March. The situation remains active, with continued strikes, rocket fire, and military alerts reported across southern Lebanon and northern Israel.
The warning highlights the risk to civilians in conflict zones as military activity continues alongside diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions in the region.
