Netanyahu Praises Trump as Israel’s “Greatest Friend,” Highlights Victories Over Hamas

During a joint parliamentary session with U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hailed Trump as the “greatest friend” Israel has ever had in the White House. Netanyahu emphasized that no American president has done more for Israel than Trump.

In his speech, Netanyahu also celebrated Israel’s military achievements, stating the country had “achieved amazing victories over Hamas and the entire Iran axis.” He praised Israeli soldiers for their role in these successes.

Looking ahead, Netanyahu expressed optimism about expanding diplomatic ties, suggesting that under Trump’s leadership, Israel could establish new peace treaties with Arab nations in the Middle East and Muslim-majority countries beyond the region. “No one wants peace more than the people of Israel,” he said, signaling a desire to build on recent developments toward broader regional stability.

The speech came as Trump prepared to address the Israeli parliament, underscoring the close U.S.-Israel relationship and shared goals in the region.
