Prince Andrew reportedly shared UK trade files with Jeffrey Epstein in 2010, according to recently released emails.
The emails indicate that Andrew, acting in his role as a government envoy, forwarded reports on countries including Vietnam and Singapore to Epstein. These reports were related to his official work during trips abroad. Sharing sensitive government or commercial information is usually prohibited for trade envoys. Andrew has denied any wrongdoing and has not issued comments following the recent release of these files.
This revelation adds to ongoing scrutiny of Andrew’s connections with Epstein, which previously led him to step down from all official royal duties in 2019. In October 2025, his title of prince was officially removed by King Charles, and he was recently moved out of his Windsor residence.
Police authorities have not confirmed whether they will open an investigation specifically into the sharing of trade documents. However, other allegations against Andrew, including one involving a woman taken to a Windsor address, are being reviewed by Thames Valley Police.
These disclosures coincide with similar claims involving a former UK ambassador who also shared sensitive files with Epstein around 2009-2010. The broader context has raised questions about confidentiality breaches and misuse of access to government information by high-profile individuals. The situation continues to attract public and political attention in the UK.
