A Russian strike on the southeastern Ukrainian city of Dnipro killed four people and injured at least 25 others, according to Ukrainian officials. The attack is part of ongoing aerial assaults targeting cities and infrastructure across Ukraine.
Regional authorities reported that 21 of the injured were hospitalized, with 10 in serious condition. Officials said the casualties were civilians, many of whom were caught in the strike during routine daily activities.
The strike also caused significant damage to infrastructure and nearby buildings. Images released by officials showed debris scattered across streets, damaged vehicles, and shattered windows in surrounding structures. Emergency services responded to the scene, providing medical assistance and carrying out rescue operations.
Dnipro, one of Ukraine’s largest cities, has been repeatedly targeted since the start of the war. Its industrial and logistical importance has made it a frequent site of missile and drone attacks.
The latest incident underscores the continued intensity of the conflict, with Russian forces maintaining pressure on urban areas. Ukrainian officials have repeatedly called for increased air defense systems to better protect civilians and critical infrastructure.
