Sarah Ferguson’s email reveals close relationship with Epstein after his conviction

Emails released from 2009 show Sarah Ferguson, the former wife of Prince Andrew, thanking convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein for being the “brother” she “always wished for” despite his child sex abuse conviction. The email, sent in August 2009, indicates a continued personal connection between Ferguson and Epstein, a year after his conviction.

In the exchange, Ferguson seems to suggest she and her daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, had met Epstein, saying: “I have never been more touched by a friend’s kindness than your compliment to me in front of my girls.” The message also implies that they had lunch the previous week, though it remains unclear whether she visited Epstein during his house arrest.

Ferguson’s emails also discuss her “Sarah Ferguson brand” and conversations she had with retailers about it. Epstein had reportedly given Ferguson at least £15,000 to help pay off debts, with some sources suggesting his financial support to her may have been much greater. In 2011, Ferguson publicly described her relationship with Epstein as a “gigantic error of judgment,” though she later privately apologized to him through email.

These revelations further reveal the complex and controversial connections between Ferguson and Epstein.
